The European Central Bank (ECB) on Thursday decided to keep its key interest rates unchanged, stating that inflation in the eurozone remains broadly under control.
All three key rates were maintained at their current levels. The deposit rate, which the ECB uses to regulate monetary policy, remained at 2%. The rates for the main refinancing operations and marginal lending also stayed unchanged at 2.15% and 2.40%, respectively. This marks the third time the ECB has maintained rates at these levels since July.
