On Tuesday oil prices edged up on expectations that economic growth in the U.S. and China will boost demand.
Brent futures for June delivery settled at $87.97 on ICE Futures, which is 0.5% higher than the closing level of previous trading.
On Monday futures were up 42 cents, or 0.5%, to $87.42 a barrel.
The WTI futures for May rose up to $84.26 a barrel (by 0.66%) at NYMEX.
