The COP29 Presidency held a meeting as part of June Climate Meetings with Chairs of Negotiating Groups and representatives from Russia and Türkiye to discuss collaborative strategies for Climate Action ahead of COP29 in Baku this November.

During the meeting, discussions were held on adaptation to the negative effects of climate change, climate financing, sea level rise, natural disasters and other environmental problems faced by small island states and their solutions, and their expectations from COP 29 were heard, Caspian Energy Media reports citing AZERTAC.
