In connection with the "Formula 1" Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the operating hours of the Baku Metro will be adjusted. The Baku Metro JSC has responded positively to the request from the event organizer, Baku City Circuit Operations Company.

According to Caspian Energy Media, citing Baku Metro JSC, due to mass cultural events taking place in the city center on the days of the car race, the Baku Metro's operating hours will be extended by two hours on the nights of September 13th to 14th and 14th to 15th. On the nights transitioning into Saturday and Sunday, all metro stations will remain open for entry until 2:00 AM. Train services will be maintained until passengers reach their final destinations.
