On February 4, 2025, the official signing of an investment agreement for the development and implementation of a high-resolution Earth remote sensing space system for the Republic of Congo took place at the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The document was signed between JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary" and representatives of the Republic of Congo.
The project aims to develop space technologies to ensure national security, monitor natural resources, agriculture, ecology, and urban planning in the Republic of Congo. Under the agreement, a high-tech satellite platform will be created to monitor the Earth's surface with high accuracy and efficiency.
The signed agreement allows the Republic of Congo to join the international group of Earth remote sensing satellites, which already includes Mongolia.
