Central Bank of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan’s Financial Market Regulator sign Memorandum of Understanding

Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and Ulvin Aliyev, Advisor to Governor, are on a working visit to Kazakhstan. As part of the visit, Taleh Kazimov met with Madina Abylkassymova, the Chair of the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan. They discussed important issues in the field of financial market regulation and supervision, as well as topics of mutual interest.

At the end of the meeting, the institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deepen cooperation.

The Memorandum envisions expanding cooperation in the exchange of information on the state and development of the financial market, standards and requirements for financial market regulation and supervision, innovative mechanisms in this area, and improving mechanisms for controlling and monitoring the activities of market participants. It also covers expanding experience exchanges, training and seminars, joint research and knowledge exchange in the field of consumer and investor rights protection, including professional development of personnel.
