On February 25, Zakir Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Executive Board of AzerGold CJSC, received the delegation led by Abdul Sami, Director General of the Frontier Works Organization of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who was visiting our country within the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum.

Mr Ibrahimov gave detailed information about the achievements of AzerGold CJSC, its strategic plans and development of the mining sector, as well as about environmental protection measures, about the transition to innovations and technologies that meet high environmental standards, and emphasized that the strategic plans of the Company include realization of mining projects outside the country borders.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on discussing specific fields of collaboration between AzerGold CJSC and Frontier Works Organization, on preparing and signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement for exchange of mining information, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding for collaboration.
