Azerbaijan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) discussed the projects of creating the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe and Azerbaijan-Central Asia-Europe green energy corridors.
Caspian Energy Media reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy, that the discussions were held during the meeting between Deputy Minister Orkhan Zeynalov and EBRD Managing Director for Türkiye and the Caucasus Elisabetta Falcetti.
During the meeting, the Azerbaijani side expressed satisfaction with the current cooperation with the EBRD in the energy sector. The meeting participants reviewed current projects in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency and transition to low-carbon energy, and exchanged views on future cooperation opportunities.
