"AzInTelecom" LLC, under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, has begun preparatory work for the construction of two new data centers in Azerbaijan. The future data centers have received the "TIER 3 Design" certificate, which sets international quality standards for stability and reliability, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to “AzInTelecom”.
This prestigious certificate, issued by the Uptime Institute in the USA, is recognized globally for its assurance of reliable data exchange, stability, and uninterrupted service. "AzInTelecom" LLC is the first institution in the South Caucasus region to obtain a "TIER 3" certificate. Both existing data centers, located in Baku and Yevlakh, also hold "TIER 3" and "TIER 3 Design" certificates. To date, 115 government agencies have fully or partially migrated their information systems to these data centers.
