Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received the newly appointed Ambassador of China Lu Mei. 

During the meeting, the sides discussed various aspects of the Azerbaijan-China strategic partnership, including political, economic, trade, transport and communication, and humanitarian cooperation, as well as regional and international issues. The parties noted the wide potential for expanding cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, and investment.
