On January 16 of this year, the Uzbek-Chinese business forum took place in Tashkent, organized in collaboration with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event marked a significant advancement in strengthening ties between business communities, fostering new projects, and enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation. It was attended by Yu Jun, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China, along with heads of relevant departments and over 400 business representatives from Uzbekistan and China.
In their speeches, the speakers highlighted the steadily growing scale of Uzbek-Chinese cooperation in recent years. Today, China stands as Uzbekistan's largest trade and investment partner.
Within the framework of the forum, presentations highlighting the investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan were conducted, and meetings in both B2B and B2G formats were organized. Participants had the opportunity to establish new business connections, discuss promising projects, and finalize mutually beneficial agreements.
