Azerbaijan and Tatarstan discussed trade relations, strengthening cooperation, organization of joint production, and potential opportunities in small and medium businesses, Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on X, “Caspian Energy Media” reports.
The discussions were held during the meeting between Jabbarov and Oleg Korobchenko, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. “We exchanged views on priority areas of economic cooperation, discussing partnerships in trade, industry, entrepreneurship, innovation, and other sectors. We also explored prospects for joint initiatives,” the Azerbaijani minister said.
During the meeting, information was provided about Azerbaijan's economy, favorable conditions created in industrial zones, and concession and support mechanisms offered to entrepreneurs in the liberated territories. Companies from Tatarstan were invited to benefit from Azerbaijan's favorable investment environment.
