The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has explored opportunities for expanding relations with Slovenian companies in various areas of the energy sector, "Caspian Energy Media" reports, citing SOCAR.

These discussions took place during a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf, President of the Management Board at the Slovenian company Petrol Group, Saso Berger, and CEO of Geoplin d.o.o. Ljubljana, Simon Urbancl.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the existing cooperation between SOCAR, Petrol Group, and Geoplin. The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
