On August 5, 2024, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The presidents noted the high level of Turkmen-Kazakh relations and discussed priority issues of bilateral cooperation, including trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian interaction, as well as coordination in the international arena.
