On February 6, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze to discuss key areas of bilateral cooperation.
Welcoming Irakli Kobakhidze, President Tokayev congratulated him on his reappointment as Prime Minister and wished him success in his duties aimed at ensuring the prosperity of the Georgian people.
During the meeting, particular attention was given to increasing cargo traffic along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and modernizing the corridor’s transit infrastructure.
The sides also explored prospects for expanding cooperation in trade, energy, investment, tourism, artificial intelligence, and digitalization.
