The leaders of Uzbekistan and Kuwait agreed to develop a comprehensive partnership

On February 17, at the Al-Bayan Palace in Kuwait City, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Sabah, held a private meeting and negotiations with the participation of official delegations.

The discussions focused on further developing and strengthening Uzbek-Kuwaiti relations of friendship and multifaceted partnership.

Special attention was given to cooperation in trade, economic, investment, innovation, and financial-technical spheres. The priority areas of practical cooperation were identified as “green” energy, industrial cooperation, agriculture, transport and logistics, infrastructure, urban development, healthcare, and tourism.
