The resolution builds on the initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan, such as the "Year of Environmental Protection and the "Green" Economy", the nationwide "Yashil Makon" (Green Space) project, and the "Green Belt of Central Asia" tree-planting campaign. It calls for mobilizing efforts and resources to implement afforestation and reforestation measures, and encourages countries and organizations to intensify their actions in this direction. “Caspian Energy Media” reports with reference to the official website of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
