On February 24, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi.

Issues of further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, primarily revealing the potential of partnership in trade-economic and investment-financial spheres were discussed.

The volumes of mutual trade turnover and the number of joint ventures are growing, and business events with the participation of leading companies of the two countries are regularly held. Special attention is paid to increasing the portfolio of the existing joint Investment Company through new cooperation projects.
