Azerbaijan and China have held extensive discussions on expanding cooperation in railway and logistics, focusing on increasing cargo transportation through the Middle Corridor, Caspian Energy Media reports, citing Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY).
Rovshan Rustamov, the chairman of ADY, met with Yang Bin, the president of China Railway Container Transport Corp. Ltd. (CRCT). They discussed CRCT joining the Middle Corridor Multimodal Ltd., a joint venture of the railways of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Georgia. This significant event will be highlighted at the 8th International Silk Road Expo in Xi’an on September 19-20.
