Görüşdə cari il fevralın 12-də Azərbaycan Respublikasının Prezidenti İlham Əliyev ilə Somali Federativ Respublikasının Prezidenti Hasan Şeyx Mahmud arasında keçirilən yüksəksəviyyəli görüşlərin ölkələrimiz arasında müxtəlif istiqamətlərdə, o cümlədən enerji sektorunda əməkdaşlıq üçün əlverişli zəmin yaratdığı xüsusi vurğulanıb.
Söhbət zamanı Somalidə neft-qaz sahəsində insan kapitalının inkişafı məqsədilə somalili tələbələrin BANM-də təhsil almaları, somalili mütəxəssislərin neft-qaz sahəsində bilik və təcrübələrinin artırılması üçün əməkdaşlıq imkanları nəzərdən keçirilib.
Görüşdə enerji sektorunun müxtəlif istiqamətlərində, o cümlədən axtarış-kəşfiyyat və treydinq istiqamətlərində mümkün əməkdaşlığın araşdırılması və qarşılıqlı maraq doğuran digər məsələlər müzakirə olunub. Bu barədə “Caspian Energy Media” SOCAR-a istinadən xəbər verir.

An official welcome ceremony was held in Baku for Umaro Sissoco Embaló, President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, who arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan for an official visit.
A guard of honor was arranged for the President of Guinea-Bissau in the square decorated with the national flags of both countries. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev welcomed President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embaló.

President of Uzbekistan and Prime Minister of Pakistan participate in the joint business-forum
President of the Republic Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif participate in the Uzbek-Pakistani business-forum.
The event was attended by about 300 executives and representatives of leading companies of the two countries. Pakistani business was represented by such companies as Al-Rafique Enterprises, Mehran Dates Products, Brighto Chemicals, Transfopower Industries, FWO, T.M.C, Pakistan Mobile, TCS and many others.
Given the geographical proximity, the need to radically increase the volume of trade turnover, including by expanding the range of goods within the framework of the current Preferential Trade Agreement, simplifying phytosanitary, quarantine and customs procedures, improving the mechanisms of interbank settlements has been emphasized. Special attention will be paid to the integration of electronic trading platforms.
