On May 16, 2024, the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau took first place in the "Potential tourism destination" category at the "Chinese Tourist Welcome Award 2024" competition organized by the "China Outbound Tourism Research Institute", Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to the State Travel Agency of Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that in 2023 there was an increase in the number of Chinese citizens visiting Azerbaijan by more than 6 times compared to 2022.

2024-cü ilin aprel ayında respublikada gündəlik neft (kondensatla birlikdə) hasilatı 596 min barel olub.

Çinin Quançjou şəhərində keçirilən “GİTF 2024” (Quançjou Beynəlxalq Turizm Sərgisi) sərgisində 16-18 may 2024-cü il tarixlərində ilk dəfə ölkəmizin turizm imkanları sərgilənir.

President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko, who is on a state visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, arrived in the Fuzuli district, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to the official website of the President of Azerbaijan.

A guard of honor was lined up for the President of Belarus at Fuzuli International Airport.

President the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko was welcomed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The President of Belarus was informed about the Fuzuli, Zangilan, and Lachin international airports.

"We intend to expand cooperation between the two countries and increase the import and export of products between Azerbaijan and Latvia. I believe that today's meeting was very productive, we listened to several presentations, our businessmen obtained useful information, and established business communication with both the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and representatives of the private sector", — Raivis Kronbergs, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia said. Speaking about future projects, the state secretary informed about the draft of the cooperation memorandum to be signed between the Ministries of Agriculture of Azerbaijan and Latvia.
