On Wednesday, at the 10th International Desert Forum in Kubuqi, held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (northern China), an initiative was released to establish partnerships between China and Central Asia in desertification prevention and control, China Green Times, published under the All-China Greening Committee and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration of China, reported.

According to the initiative, China and the Central Asian countries will build partnerships in preventing and combating desertification and will step up international cooperation to promote sustainable development and jointly respond to climate change.
