From September 24 to 26, the first Meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the safety of tailings dumps and the prevention of accidental water pollution in Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent and the Tashkent region.
The event was attended by representatives of the UNECE, the Ministry of Ecology, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Water Management, the Ministry of Health, the Committee on Industrial, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety, civil society institutions, etc.
