The first technical meeting, organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, was held to discuss the roadmap to be developed for Azerbaijan’s transition to electronic consignment note (eCMR).

Experts from the Secretariat of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT), as well as representatives of relevant government agencies attended the meeting.

Representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport presented the country’s national goals for digital transformation in international freight transport. The participants discussed key milestones and strategies to ensure smooth operation of the system. The partners reaffirmed their commitment to cooperate for the successful implementation of this digital initiative.
