Kazakhstan’s economy shows growth

As of January–July 2025, Kazakhstan’s economy grew by 6.3%, marking a record high in recent years, the Kazinform news agency reported on Thursday, citing the government.

According to the published data, growth in the real sector reached 8.3%, while the production of services increased by 5.2%.

Over the first seven months of this year, investment in fixed capital increased by 16.1% to reach 9.9 trillion tenge. The main investments were directed to the mining industry, transportation and warehousing, real estate activities, education, agriculture, and healthcare.

Over the past 10 years, the country has attracted USD 216.7 billion in foreign direct investment, nearly 60% of which has been directed to non-extractive sectors.
