The 2025 Euro-Asia Economic Forum opened in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, and themed on "Unleashing New Synergies in Eurasia, Co-Building a New Pattern for Sustainable Development".  

The event brought together over 500 political figures, entrepreneurs, and academics from 40 countries and regions, including member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and participants in the Belt and Road Initiative.

According to China Central Television, the program includes 13 sub-forums covering topics such as geological cooperation and investment in the mining industry in SCO countries, tourism cooperation within the framework of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), and human resource development along the Silk Road Economic Belt.
