The discussion focused on investment opportunities and projects in strategically important sectors, including transport, energy, and digitalization. President Tokayev emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to creating favorable conditions for American businesses and highlighted the establishment of preferential regimes for foreign investors.

During President Tokayev’s visit to New York, a historic contract was signed with the American company Wabtec for the supply of 300 freight locomotives worth approximately $4.2 billion. This deal marks the largest export contract in Kazakhstan’s history and symbolizes the strengthening partnership between the two countries.
