On June 9, on the eve of Tashkent international investment forum President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the delegation of prominent companies of the United States of America. 

The meeting was attended by the assistant secretary of state Eric Meyer, chairman of the American-Uzbek chamber of commerce Carolyn Lamm, vice-president of the International Development Finance Corporation Bethany Brez, as well as heads of corporations Boeing, FLS, Visa, NASDAQ, Air Products, Franklin Templeton, Morgan Stanlеy, Coca-Cola and others.

Special attention was paid to the prospects of investment and innovation partnership, promoting specific projects in development and processing critical materials, fields of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, modernization of transport and energy infrastructure, agriculture, tourism and others.
