The 20th G20 Summit will take place from 21 to 23 November in Johannesburg, South Africa. China supports South Africa’s role as G20 chair and is ready to work with all parties to achieve consensus at the upcoming summit on issues such as commitment to multilateralism, building an open global economy, and promoting development cooperation, with a focus on the summit theme: “Unity, Equity, Sustainability.”

The G20 Summit will be held on the African continent for the first time, marking a historic milestone, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China reported last Thursday.
