On July 17, 2024, President of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovshan Najaf met with Minister of the Environment, Climate and Energy of the Republic of Slovenia Bojan Kumer, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to SOCAR .
At the meeting, parties noted with satisfaction that relations in the energy sector between Azerbaijan and Slovenia have been successfully developing, emphasizing the vast potential of cooperation in the field of natural gas supply.
Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understantiong was signed between SOCAR and Geoplin, Slovenia's largest natural gas supply company, to expand cooperation in the field of gas supply.
