Discussions were held on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia, including the development of energy cooperation.

A delegation headed by Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Economy Anar Akhundov met with Dubravka Dedović Handanović, Serbia's Minister of Mining and Energy, in Belgrade as part of a visit to Serbia.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) and relevant Serbian state companies. The sides discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation, including the possibility of jointly constructing a gas power plant near the Serbian city of Niš.
