On 20 February, the Subgroup on Creation of Unified Information System in Connection with Public Utilities of the Business Environment and International Rankings Commission, chaired by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, held a meeting.

The meeting was attended by Vusal Shikhaliyev, Head of the Sector at the Department of Economic Policy and Industrial Issues of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Samir Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Farid Osmanov, Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, as well as representatives of other subordinate agencies of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Justice, State Committee for Urban Development  and Architecture, Azerishig OJSC and other government agencies.

During the meeting, an exchange of views  took place on the requirements and upcoming tasks on the unified information system in connection with public utilities in the new  Business Ready report of the World Bank Group, tasks and status of the work  carried out to create a unified information system in connection with public utilities and the work done for the electronization and digitalization of connection to public utilities and potential opportunities.
