The load factor of AZAL flights increased by 7%

Passenger turnover of AZAL airline increased by 30% in 2023 compared to 2022 and reached a record level - 2.9 million people. A particularly significant increase was observed in international flights, the total number of passengers increased by 46% to 2.2 million.

"Caspian Energy Media" informs that Jamil Manizade, Chief Commercial Officer of AZAL said this in an interview to "Report".

According to him, the flight load factor in the first 6 months of 2024 reached 80%, which is 7% more than in the same period of 2023.

"At the same time, as I mentioned, the average price of an air ticket has decreased by 18% compared to last year. The total volume of passenger seats sold by AZAL in the first half of 2024 has increased by about 50% compared to last year."
