A meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture with the delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Co-Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Moldova Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation Vladimir Bolea, who is visiting Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy, transport, culture, education and tourism, increasing the number of direct flights from Azerbaijan to Moldova, effective use of tourism potential, cooperation in the field of processing agricultural products, the activities of the Azerbaijan-Moldova joint intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, the sixth meeting of the commission to be held in Baku on April 11 of this year, and issues related to the business forum to be organized within this framework were discussed.

The parties also exchanged views on the signed and negotiated agreements, prospects for future cooperation, and emphasized the great potential for expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Moldova in the agricultural sector.
