Prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the media sphere have been discussed, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to the Media Development Agency.

As part of the visit to Tashkent, the Azerbaijani delegation led by executive director of the agency, Ahmad Ismayilov, met with Director General of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Asadjan Khodjaev.

The sides exchanged views on establishing effective and large-scale ties between the two countries in the field of media and communications, as well as on issues of global relevance in the information and communication sphere.
